Registration Requirements of Design

In order to receive a design registration, it must have an industrial applicability, a novelty, and a creativity, and it should not be a design that can not receive the design registration prescribed by the Design law.

Partial Examination System

Most design applications are registered after examination by the examiner,
but some products with short product life cycle and high pandemic are not subject to examine the novelty.
Unexamined items include clothing, fashion accessories, textiles, artificial and natural sheet fabrics, stationery,
office supplies, art materials and textbooks, etc.

Related Design System

Application for a design that has changed its application or registered design (basic design) within one year from the date of basic design filing

Partial Design System

The shape, color, or combination of parts of the goods may also be registered for design registration.
